Job summary

Swageazy in Gurugram is seeking a Video Editor to turn ideas and raw footage into engaging content that aligns with brand stories.

You will edit short-form videos for social media, collaborate with marketing, and maintain brand consistency. A portfolio/showreel is a must; 1-3 years experience preferred; work from office.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of video editing experience, preferably in startups or fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency with Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong storytelling, pacing, transitions, and visual composition.
• Portfolio/showreel demonstrating prior work is essential.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos, reels, social media content, brand videos, and campaign creatives.
• Turn raw footage into sharp, engaging, platform-ready content.
• Work closely with marketing and creative teams to understand briefs and deliver videos on time.
• Add transitions, motion graphics, text, sound effects, music, and other elements to engage viewers.
• Maintain Swageazy's brand language, visual style, and quality standards.
• Repurpose existing content into multiple formats for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and more.
• Stay updated with current video trends, editing styles, formats, and social patterns.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

We're looking for a Video Editor who can turn ideas, raw footage, and brand stories into engaging content that grabs attention and drives action.

What You'll Do

• Edit short-form videos, reels, social media content, brand videos, and campaign creatives.
• Turn raw footage into sharp, engaging, platform-ready content.
• Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to understand briefs and deliver videos on time.
• Add transitions, motion graphics, text, sound effects, music, and other elements to make content engaging.

What We're Looking For

• 1-3 years of experience in video editing, preferably in a startup, D2C, agency, or fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of Premiere Pro / After Effects / CapCut / DaVinci Resolve or similar tools.
• Good understanding of pacing, storytelling, transitions, typography, music, and visual composition.
• Strong eye for detail and creative sense.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from brief to final output.
• Someone who understands what makes people stop scrolling.
• A portfolio/showreel showcasing your previous work is a must.

Bonus Points

• Motion graphics and basic animation skills.
• Experience creating content for Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Basic understanding of photography/videography.
• Experience working with brands, e-commerce, D2C, or corporate content.
