The role involves collaborating with the content and production teams, performing color grading, sound design, and post-production tasks to deliver polished videos on tight deadlines. Gurgaon-based creative space, Italian coffee, and healthy snacks accompany a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of video editing experience with a portfolio including short and long-form content.
• Strong storytelling, pacing, and timing for narrative videos.
• Experience with editing for social platforms and different aspect ratios.

Responsibilities

• Edit engaging content across formats for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and more.
• Collaborate closely with the content and production team to bring stories to life through video.
• Execute seamless transitions, sound syncing, and pacing to retain viewer attention.
• Handle post-production tasks including color correction, sound design, and visual effects.
• Integrate text overlays, music, SFX, and B-roll to enrich storytelling.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Video Editor to join our team and bring creativity to life through compelling video content. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in editing long-form and short-form videos and experience in films, short films, or documentaries. You will be responsible for shaping our visual narrative, ensuring every piece aligns with our brand and communicates our mission effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit engaging content across formats for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and more.
• Collaborate closely with the content and production team to bring stories to life through video.
• Execute seamless transitions, sound syncing, and pacing to retain viewer attention.
• Handle post-production tasks including color correction, sound design, and visual effects.
• Integrate text overlays, music, SFX, and B-roll to enrich storytelling.
• Maintain consistent visual identity and align with Verona’s evolving brand tone.

2. Graphic Design & Visual Assets

• Create on-brand static creatives for events, campaigns, paid ads, and social media.
• Design engaging thumbnails and covers that drive clicks and clarity.
• Develop responsive YouTube channel assets, banners, and layout elements for both desktop and mobile.
• Support marketing, branding, or product teams with visual content as needed.

3. Trend Awareness & Creative Adaptability

• Stay plugged into emerging visual styles, editing formats, memes, and platform trends.
• Confidently adapt styles while preserving the essence of Verona’s visual language.
• Apply new tools, plugins, and workflows to improve both speed and creative output.

4. Flexible Creative Support

• While core responsibilities center on editing and design, this is a dynamic role.
• You may be asked to assist with adjacent creative tasks including branding design, static graphics, explainer animation, or campaign visuals.
• A flexible, solution-oriented mindset is essential.

Skill Set

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and timing in video editing.
• Knowledge of color grading, sound editing, and visual effects.
• Attention to detail and creativity in crafting visually appealing and engaging videos.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time.

Education and Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in video editing, particularly in short films, long-form content, or documentaries.
• A strong portfolio showcasing a range of edited video work, including both short and long formats.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and adhering to tight deadlines.
