Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Coimbatore. The Video Editor will collaborate closely with the photographer to edit and assemble maternity, newborn, and baby session footage into polished, emotionally engaging videos. Day-to-day tasks include organizing raw footage, performing video cuts, applying transitions, and synchronizing audio with visuals to match the studio’s storytelling style. The role also involves basic color correction and grading, integrating motion graphics or simple titles, and preparing videos in formats suitable for clients and social media. The Video Editor will maintain an organized workflow, meet project timelines, and contribute creative ideas that enhance the Little Shots By hema brand.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in video production and video editing using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
• Strong skills in video color grading and basic color correction to maintain a soft, natural aesthetic.
• Ability to create and integrate motion graphics and simple graphics elements such as titles, lower thirds, and overlays.
• Attention to detail, a keen sense of visual storytelling, and an understanding of pacing for emotional, family-focused content.
• Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines on-site.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a respectful and patient approach when working around parents, babies, and the studio team.
• Prior experience in family, lifestyle, or event video editing is an advantage; familiarity with photography workflows is a plus.
