Job summary

National Australia Bank Ltd. is seeking a Vice President-Project Manager in Bengaluru to drive complex MEP design and fit-out projects.

You will oversee site engineering, safety, and contractor performance to deliver high quality, compliant workplace environments. The role requires extensive experience across corporate office projects, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to coordinate multiple interfaces including landlords, technology and operations.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in MEP engineering, workplace fit-out, construction delivery, facilities engineering or project engineering.
• Contractor oversight, quality control, commissioning and HSE coordination experience.
• Experience in commercial office, corporate workplace or large fit-out projects preferred.

Essential capabilities

• Strong MEP design and construction coordination capability
• Sound understanding of HSE compliance, site safety and risk controls
• Ability to oversee consultants, contractors, landlord and building management interfaces
• Construction quality assurance, testing, commissioning and handover experience
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and issue resolution capability
• Ability to work in a fast paced, multi stakeholder project environment

Other capabilities

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and MS Teams
• Working knowledge of project documentation, compliance records and reporting templates
• Exposure to workplace fit-out, integrated systems validation and operational readiness
• Familiarity with vendor governance, change management and risk tracking

Experience

• 12+ years of experience in MEP engineering, workplace fit-out, construction delivery, facilities engineering or project engineering
• Proven experience in contractor oversight, quality control, commissioning and HSE coordination
• Experience in commercial office, corporate workplace, technology enabled workplace or large fit-out projects preferred

Qualification Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, Civil Engineering or related discipline
• HSE certification, NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent preferred
• Project management or facilities management certification preferred
