Job summary

DigitalCube Consultancy in Gurgaon, India, seeks a senior MEP Design leader to guide multidisciplinary teams across Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC and Plumbing for high‑rise, mixed‑use and infrastructure projects.

You will be responsible for technical authority, client engagement on international projects, and delivery ownership with BIM workflow leadership. Requires 15–20 years in MEP, and 10+ years in leadership of design teams.

Qualifications

• 15–20 years of experience in MEP design and engineering services.
• Minimum 10 years hands-on design experience in Electrical, Mechanical or HVAC.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary design teams and end-to-end project delivery.
• Experience on large, complex projects across multiple sectors (high-rise, airports, metro, data centres).
• Working knowledge of international codes and standards (US, European, APAC).
• Proficiency in current MEP design tools and BIM software.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the MEP Design and Engineering Services vertical.
• Build and mentor multidisciplinary design teams across Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC and Plumbing.
• Own technical quality, design reviews, approvals and sign-off.
• Ensure designs comply with international codes and standards (US, European, APAC).
• Manage end-to-end delivery including planning, resourcing, budgets, schedules and risk.
• Act as senior technical contact for international clients, architects and consultants.
• Drive adoption of BIM workflows and internal engineering standards.
• Support business growth through technical proposals, bids and capability building.

As part of our continued growth, we are appointing a senior professional to lead our MEP Design and Engineering Services vertical.

About the Role

You will lead multidisciplinary design teams across Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC and Plumbing, delivering high-rise commercial buildings, large residential and mixed-use developments, airports, metro and transport infrastructure, and data centres. The role combines hands‑on technical authority with team leadership, delivery ownership and direct client engagement on international projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction to the MEP Design and Engineering Services vertical
• Build, lead and mentor multidisciplinary design teams across Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC and Plumbing
• Own technical quality across the portfolio, including design reviews, approvals and sign-off
• Ensure designs comply with applicable international codes and standards (US, European, APAC)
• Manage end-to-end delivery including planning, resourcing, budgets, schedules and risk
• Act as the senior technical point of contact for international clients, architects and consultants
• Drive adoption of current design tools, BIM workflows and internal engineering standards
• Support business growth through technical proposals, bids and capability building

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 15–20 years of overall experience in MEP design and engineering services
• Minimum 10 years of hands‑on design experience in at least one core discipline: Electrical, Mechanical or HVAC
• Proven experience leading and managing multidisciplinary design teams, not only individual project delivery
• Delivery track record on large and complex projects, with experience in at least two of the following: high‑rise commercial buildings, large residential or mixed‑use developments, airports, metro and transport infrastructure, data centres
• Working knowledge of international codes and standards (US, European, APAC)
• Proficiency in current industry‑standard MEP design and BIM software
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills

Preferred

• Master's degree in Engineering
• Electrical engineering background
• Currently operating at Director, Vice President, Head of Engineering, Head of MEP Design or Senior Associate Director level, or a strong MEP Design Head ready for the next step
• Experience working with international clients or within global design offices
