Job Summary:

Vice President Delivery to lead large-scale delivery operations, drive operational excellence, strengthen client relationships, and ensure successful execution of strategic programs. The role will be responsible for delivery governance, financial performance, customer satisfaction, people leadership, and continuous improvement across multiple accounts and programs.

The candidate should have a strong understanding of digital learning ecosystems, software development lifecycle, content development workflows, product/technology delivery, engineering execution, and client-facing program management.

The role requires a highly execution-driven leader who can manage enterprise delivery operations, multi-functional teams, customer relationships, operational governance, and business-critical delivery programs at scale.

Prior experience in EdTech domain will be strongly preferred, though leaders with exposure to managing large-scale learning/content + technology delivery environments will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

1. Delivery Leadership

• Drive end-to-end execution of multiple strategic delivery programs across Content, Technology, Product, and Operations teams.
• Ensure projects and programs are delivered within defined timelines, quality benchmarks, and business objectives.
• Establish and drive strong execution discipline and delivery processes across the organization.
• Manage delivery operations across multiple parallel workstreams while ensuring operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

2. Business Management & Financial Acumen

• Own delivery-related financial performance, including revenue, margins, costs, and profitability.
• Partner with Sales and Account Management teams on business growth, renewals, and expansion opportunities.
• Ensure effective resource utilization and capacity planning.
• Monitor account and portfolio performance against business targets.
• Strong understanding of Top Line / Bottom Line management, with focus on revenue, margins, costs, and profitability.

3. Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as a strategic interface between clients, business leaders, delivery teams, and executive leadership.
• Manage customer communication, delivery reviews, escalations, governance meetings, and overall account management.
• Build strong relationships with enterprise clients and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and execution confidence.
• Handle stakeholder escalations and drive resolution in high-pressure delivery environments.

4. Technology Delivery & Engineering Operations

• Work closely with Engineering and Product teams to ensure smooth execution of technology delivery programs.
• Demonstrate a good understanding of SDLC, Product Engineering, Cloud Platforms, DevOps processes, release management, and deployment cycles.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA, Infrastructure, and DevOps teams to align delivery execution with business priorities.
• Oversee operational coordination between Content and Technology teams to ensure integrated delivery success.

5. Cross-Functional Leadership

• Lead large cross-functional teams across Content, Instructional Design, Product, Engineering, DevOps, Delivery, QA, and Operations.
• Build collaboration frameworks and ensure strong coordination across departments.
• Drive accountability, ownership culture, execution discipline, and delivery excellence across teams.
• Mentor Delivery Managers, Program Managers, and functional leaders.

6. Reporting & Analytics

• Experienced in delivery reporting, operational analytics, dashboards, and performance tracking.
• Proficient in tracking key business and delivery metrics, utilization, productivity, and overall portfolio performance.

7. Metrics, Governance & Operational Excellence

• Own organization-wide delivery metrics, dashboards, utilization tracking, productivity reporting, and project health reviews.
• Monitor operational KPIs, team performance, delivery efficiency, and execution quality standards.
• Drive process improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency, reduce delivery bottlenecks, and enhance business outcomes.
• Demonstrate strong command of Excel, dashboards, management reporting systems, and operational analytics.
