Job summary

Segula Technologies India is seeking a Senior Design Engineer for Vehicle Integration - Interiors in Chennai to lead the vehicle-level integration of interior systems and components.

You will coordinate with Design, CAE, Electrical, Chassis, Safety, Manufacturing, Quality and suppliers to ensure fit, safety, manufacturability and full vehicle conformance; experience with IP, cockpit, center console, doors, seats, headliner and interior panels is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in vehicle interior integration.
• Senior level position with proven leadership in cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for vehicle-level integration of interior systems and components.
• Work on integration of IP, cockpit, center console, door trims, seats, headliner, floor carpet, pillars, luggage trim and interior panels.
• Perform packaging, clearance, interface, fit finish and CAD/DMU checks.
• Coordinate with Design, CAE, Electrical, Chassis, Safety, Manufacturing, Quality and Suppliers.
• Resolve fitment, clash, NVH, ergonomics, assembly and functional issues.
• Support prototype builds, vehicle testing, validation, engineering changes and issue closure.
• Ensure safety, quality, manufacturability and vehicle-level requirements are met.
