Job summary

Segula Technologies India is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to lead vehicle architecture activities in Chennai. You will define vehicle-level architecture and packaging using UG NX and coordinate across Body, Chassis, Powertrain, and E/E teams.

You will support vehicle development from concept through production, addressing integration issues and reviews. The role requires at least 5 years of senior experience in vehicle architecture, a Bachelor degree, and a permanent full-time contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in vehicle architecture or a closely related role.
• Permanent contract with full-time work.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and define vehicle-level architecture and package layouts using UG NX.
• Drive vehicle system integration and interface definition across domains.
• Coordinate with Body, Chassis, Powertrain, E/E, Thermal, Interior & Exterior teams and suppliers.
• Perform packaging, feasibility, and architecture studies for vehicles.
• Participate in architecture, packaging, and design reviews.

• Support DFMEA, requirements management, DVP&R, and engineering change activities
• Contribute to ICE / Hybrid / EV vehicle architecture development
