Job summary

Marutee is seeking an experienced Plant 3D Designer - Piping to develop and manage piping models for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Power projects using AutoCAD Plant 3D. The ideal candidate has 5-8 years of hands-on piping layout, isometric generation, and multidisciplinary coordination, and will support detailed engineering through design reviews and deliverables.

Strong knowledge of P&IDs, line lists, and vendor drawings is required.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in Plant 3D piping design for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, or Chemical industries.
• Hands-on experience in developing detailed piping models using AutoCAD Plant 3D.
• Strong understanding of piping layout concepts, pipe routing, piping components, material specifications, and isometric generation.
• Experience in successfully executing at least five complete projects using AutoCAD Plant 3D.
• Strong coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills; able to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D piping models for Large Bore, Small Bore, and Balance of Plant piping systems using AutoCAD Plant 3D.
• Perform piping routing for critical process lines, including high-temperature and high-pressure piping systems.
• Model piping components based on P&IDs, stress analysis reports, boiler drawings, and vendor GADs.
• Generate engineering deliverables including piping layout drawings, production isometrics, BOM.
• Interpret and work with engineering documents such as P&IDs, line lists, piping material specifications, vendor drawings, and inline instrumentation details.
• Participate in and lead 30%, 60%, and 90% model review meetings.
• Ensure piping layouts comply with project specifications, engineering standards, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Electrical, and Instrumentation teams to resolve design issues.
• Maintain design quality, accuracy, and consistency throughout project execution.

Key Responsibilities
