Job summary

Alstom Bengaluru is seeking a Verification & Validation lead to drive V&V activities for urban signalling solutions and mentor a team of testers and engineers. You’ll automate test scripts, develop strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality.

The role requires strong Python, Robot Framework, Docker, and frontend knowledge (Vue/JavaScript/TypeScript), plus experience with microservices and urban signalling systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of Python experience.
• At least 1 year of experience with Robot Framework or equivalent testing libraries.
• Experience with client/server and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in Docker and containerization.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript (minimum 1 year).
• Preferred experience with frontend frameworks such as Vue.
• Good knowledge of urban signalling systems solutions (U400, UFLO, or U500).
• Experience with test automation and performing tests or FIVP.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Youll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and compliance of urban signalling systems, making a meaningful impact on the safety and efficiency of transportation. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (e.g., development, engineering, and testing teams), manage and mentor a team of testers and engineers, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of automating test scripts and leading V&V efforts for urban signalling solutions, but also contribute to the development of test strategies and plans.
