Job summary

L&T Technology Services is seeking a senior professional to drive technical and financial value creation across renewable energy assets in Bengaluru. You will focus on improving project returns, reducing LCOE, and optimizing costs and schedules across development, EPC/execution, and operations.

The role requires deep understanding of LCOE/LVOE, IRR, and asset performance, with strong skills in data analytics and stakeholder management to translate technical insights into commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical/Mechanical/Renewable Energy Engineering or related field.
• 5–12 years in utility-scale renewable energy projects (Solar, Wind, BESS).
• Strong understanding of project economics, value drivers, and asset performance.

Job description

Drive technical and financial value creation across renewable energy assets (Solar, Wind, and BESS) throughout the project lifecycle—from development and construction to operations. The role focuses on improving project returns, reducing LCOE, optimizing costs and schedules, and enhancing asset performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop value tracking frameworks, benchmarks, and performance metrics.
• Identify and quantify value creation opportunities across the portfolio.
• Collaborate with engineering, development, construction, and operations to drive continuous improvement.
• Optimize project designs to maximize economic value.
• Support cost optimization and construction efficiency initiatives in Project execution ph
• Analyse performance gaps in Operation to improve Return on Investment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy Engineering, or related field.
• Master's degree is an advantage.

Experience

• 5–12 years in utility-scale renewable energy projects (Solar, Wind, BESS).
• Experience across development, EPC/execution, and operations.
• Strong understanding of project economics, value drivers, and asset performance.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and translating technical insights into commercial outcomes.
• Analysis of LCOE models, LVOE and IRR etc.

Preferred Experience

• Developer or IPP with Wind, Solar and BESS
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel/ Python/Power BI, or similar tools.
• Strong techno-commercial and financial understanding.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Data-driven, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
