Job summary

Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. seeks a valuation professional to join the business valuation practice, handling engagements for financial reporting, tax reporting and intangibles.

You will develop valuation models, lead a project team, and liaise with clients and engagement teams in Hyderabad. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of valuations experience, a strong Excel skillset, and professional designations such as CA/CPA/MBA/CFA.

Qualifications

• Completed undergraduate degree with outstanding academic credentials.
• A professional designation including CA/CPA/MBA/CFA.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant valuations work experience.
• Sound grasp of MS Excel; a natural interest in using it to an advanced level.
• In-depth understanding of valuation principles.
• Experience with purchase price allocation and impairment testing of goodwill and intangibles per accounting standards.
• Advanced knowledge of using research databases such as CapitaliQ, Bloomberg, Factiva, Thomson etc.
• Excellent analytical, project management and teamwork competencies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven business development and marketing techniques, and ability to pursue and close growth opportunities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Interest in working in a challenging and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Be part of our business valuation practice and work on a range of valuation engagements including valuations for financial reporting, tax reporting and compliance, IP and intangible asset valuations.
• Develop and review valuation models of varying complexities for entities of different sizes across industries
• Collaborate with team to analyze client issues and recommend solutions
• Prioritize objectives and contribute to project execution and status reporting
• Provide guidance to, supervise and review the work of junior team members
• Directly liaise with and develop relationships with client and engagement team members
