4AT Consulting is seeking a valuation professional for U.S. business valuation projects based in India, with offices in Bangalore and Hyderabad. The role involves collaborating with U.S.

teams on audits and external valuations, building financial models, and delivering ASC 805/350/820–compliant valuations. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of valuation experience and a Master’s degree in a relevant field; CPA/CFA progress is a plus.

Skill : U.S. business valuation

Location: Bangalore & Hyd(India)

Qualification : Master's degree OR Certified CPA or CFA OR CA

Type of employment : Contracting 8 to 9hrs a day

Duration : 6 months renewable

Pay : Hourly Pay for professional contractors and Monthly fixed for contractors

Responsibilities

• Working with the U.S. business valuation teams (on both audit and external valuation projects) engaged in the valuation of business enterprises, equity interests, financial instruments and intangible assets for regulatory, financial and tax purposes
• Working on building financial models, analyzing financial statements, conducting industry research and writing reports
• Delivering high quality valuation products (ASC 805, ASC 350, ASC 820 and ASC 718 / IRC 409A etc.) and assisting other team members when required
• Interacting with internal clients and communicating with managers / senior managers in the U.S.
• Mentoring junior team members to ensure delivery of high-quality products

Skills

• Experience in broad-based business and financial valuations and multi-discipline appraisals including those of closely held companies
• Strong knowledge of ASC 350, ASC 805, ASC 718 and ASC 820
• Multi-class equity security valuations, financial derivatives valuation, cheap stock / ESOP valuation as per the IRC 409A guidelines
• Sound knowledge of valuation methodologies such as 'Discounted Cash-Flow (DCF)', 'Guideline Public Company (GPC)' and 'Guideline Company Transaction (GCT)' methods
• Knowledge of accounting and corporate finance concepts
• Ability to supervise juniors and lead projects
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment
• Strong training and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent verbal, written (including technical writing), and presentation skills
• Experienced with data research; hands on experience with databases such as Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Refinitiv, etc. will be a plus point
• Excellent analytical, research, organizational, and project management skills
• Capability to handle pressure during seasonality and open to travel internationally

Professional Experience / Qualifications

• Relevant experience of 2-4 years in business valuation
• Master's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, or related field
• Certification/license or progress towards CPA or CFA is a plus point
• Accounting, finance, and economics knowledge; proficiency in US GAAP preferred
