Ideal candidates hold an MBA from a premier school, with added credentials such as MS Finance, CA, or CFA, and may have CVA/ASA/ABV certifications. This role emphasizes quality, leadership, and analytical rigor.

Responsibilities

• Planning, organising, conducting, and managing various valuation engagements.
• Functionally managing a small engagement team while reporting to senior team members.
• Ensures quality control and accuracy of client deliverables.
• Oversees multiple valuation and consulting engagements simultaneously.
• Writes complex valuation reports and summarizes analyses and conclusions.
• Collaborates with the engagement team and contributes to firm culture.
• Leads, trains, and mentors analysts and associates within the team.

SERVICE TYPE/EXPERIENCE:

Working knowledge of the below will have a preference:

• Portfolio Valuations/ Fair Value Measurements (ASC 820)
• Equity Incentive Awards (ASC 718 and IRC 409A)
• Business Combinations (ASC 805)
• Goodwill Impairment (ASC 350/360)
• Embedded Derivatives (ASC 815)
• Gift Estate Tax Valuations
• Demonstrated knowledge of building financial and/or forecasting models from scratch will be preferred.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Planning, organising, conducting, and managing various valuation engagements.
• Functionally managing a small engagement team while being accountable for the daily progression and reporting of the engagement to the senior members of the team.
• Assumes responsibility for quality control and accuracy of client deliverables.
• Oversees multiple valuation and consulting engagements simultaneously.
• Writes complex valuation reports and summarizes analyses and conclusions.
• Works collaboratively with the engagement team and is a positive contributor to the firms culture.
• Leads, trains, and mentors analysts and other associates within the team.
