Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on validation experience in semiconductor environments.
• Proficient in C programming and bare-metal test script development.
• Strong debugging and fault-analysis capabilities for CPU/system issues.
• Experience with ARM Cortex-A/R/M or Neoverse cores.

Responsibilities

• Write bare metal test scripts and execute on emulation and Post-Si platforms.
• Generate test content using core features and debug issues.
• Employ waveforms, traces, JTAG/CoreSight for debugging.
• Collaborate on version control using GIT and maintain test suites.

Job Description

The job will entail write bare metal test scripts and execution of the same on the emulation platforms and then on Post Si platforms. Job will entail using the core features to generate the test content and for debugging the same when there are issues. The test content will be written in C.

Job Responsibilities / Day-to-Day Activities

Technical Expertise MUST

• Strong knowledge of ARM architecture (AArch32/AArch64), caches, MMU, coherence, interrupt models.
• Hands on experience in validation of Cortex A/R/M or Neoverse cores,
• Strong debug skills on the CPU/system bugs involving interrupts, exceptions, faults, coherency errors, etc.
• Proficient in using waveforms, traces, JTAG, CoreSight for debug.
• Strong assembly and C programming skills for test generation.
• Ability to write and debug bare metal test cases and automate validation procedures.
• Familiarity in GIT usage and version control practises
• Experience with emulation/FPGA bring-up (Palladium/Veloce) is preferred.
