IIFL Finance Ltd in Degana (GL location) invites applications for the Gold Appraiser role. The position covers end-to-end valuation, loan disbursal, and customer service for gold loan clients at our Degana branch.

You will conduct gold valuations, verify purity, handle cash during disbursals and collections, manage KYC documents, and ensure accurate loan records in LOS. Salary varies by metro status; see details.

• Provide service during pledging, releasing, or payments.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Attending to walk-in customers, addressingqueries about the gold loan process and schemes offered.
• Conducting gold valuations andidentifying gold purity accurately.
• Properly packing and storing gold andgold packets after loan disbursal. Returning gold ornaments to customers afterloan closure.
• Managing cash (system & physical)during loan disbursals, interest collection, and loan closures.
• Create new CUID in system &modifications in LOS during Disbursal, Part Release / Payments & LoanClosure.
• Maintain branch registers as per theguidelines – Key / Cash / Packet Movements, Staff & Customer Visits etc.
• Ensuring proper collection and storageof customer KYC documents.
• Following up with customers for timelycollection of interest and principal payments.
• Providing good customer service at everystep i.e. while pledging, releasing, or making interest payments.

Additional Responsibilities:

Insummary, the Gold appraiser is responsible for the end-to-end transactionprocess for gold loans - from valuation to disbursal to closure, along withcustomer service.
