Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your validation and verification expertise in a cutting‑edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, motivated, and innovative teammates.
You’ll specifically take care of functional testing at both subsystem and system levels, but also design and validate test environments and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute test plans to deliver high‑quality validation campaigns in real or simulated environments, ensuring the safety and reliability of our embedded solutions.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams across the business (system, project, product, quality, and safety teams).
- Perform functional testing using NI Test Stand tools.
- Design overall test architecture, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Execute test sessions and produce test reports.
- Investigate and resolve defects detected during testing.
- Specify, design, and validate test environments and tools.
- Ensure test traceability and compliance with software, V&V, and safety processes.
- Contribute to workload estimation and scheduling.
- Manage V&V work products under configuration management.
- Collaborate with global teams and adapt to different geographical contexts.
All about you
- Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Engineering – IT, CS, ECE, EEE, or equivalent.
- 4+ years of experience in verification and validation of complex embedded systems.
- Experience in requirement/functional‑based testing on host and target‑based environments.
- Proficiency in testing with NI Test Stand suite.
- Experience in scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
- Knowledge of test life cycles, defect management, and debugging.
- Familiarity with tools like ClearQuest, Git, Rectify, and DOORS.
- Understanding of standards such as CENELEC SIL4 or DO‑178B.
- Domain knowledge in railway signalling, avionics, or a similar engineering field.
- Programming skills in C, C++, C#, or Ada (Ada experience is desirable).
- Strong analytical skills and a problem‑solving mindset.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A flair for learning technologies specific to the railway domain.
