Job summary

ApplyMint seeks usability/test engineers to validate product concepts, workflows, and prototypes through structured testing on digital products.

Candidates should have 5+ years in usability or validation, hands-on with user journeys, and experience with Maze or Content Square. This role focuses on testing concepts rather than pure UI/UX design, and targets B2C or fintech sectors, based in Pune, India.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in usability testing, product validation or design-thinking roles.
• Hands-on testing of user journeys and interaction flows for web or mobile apps.
• Experience conducting usability, prototype testing, and concept validation with users before release.
• Identifying usability issues and iterating designs from test feedback.
• Experience with Maze or Content Square for usability analytics and testing.

Strong Usability / UX Testing and Validation Profiles

Mandatory (Experience 1): Must have 5+ YOE in product validation, usability testing, design thinking, or experience testing roles, working on digital products

Mandatory (Experience 2): Must have hands‑on experience in testing user journeys, workflows, and interaction flows for web or mobile applications

Mandatory (Experience 3): Must have practical experience conducting usability testing, prototype testing, and concept validation with users before product release

Mandatory (Experience 4): Experience in identifying usability issues, user friction points, and iterating designs based on feedback and testing insights

Mandatory (Experience 5)- - Must have strong hands‑on experience with Maze for prototype testing, unmoderated usability testing, surveys, and quantitative user research OR Content Square for customer journey analysis, heatmaps, session recordings, behavioral analytics, and digital experience optimization (atleast 1 tool experience is required)

Mandatory (Skills 1): Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, information architecture, and design thinking methodologies

Mandatory (Skills 2): Basic understanding of user behavior and usability heuristics to improve overall product experience
