Job summary

Medopharm in Tamil Nadu seeks a maintenance professional to operate and maintain pharmaceutical utilities, including HVAC, PW/RO/DM systems and water distribution.

You will monitor AHUs, compressed air, pumps and other equipment; perform preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance; identify faults and ensure uninterrupted production by timely actions. Experience with tablet and capsule lines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain pharmaceutical utilities (HVAC, chillers, cooling towers, air compressors, boilers, pumps, water systems).
• Monitor and maintain PW, RO, DM systems and water distribution loops.
• Maintain AHU systems, HVAC equipment, filters, differential pressure and temperature monitoring.
• Monitor compressed air systems; ensure required pressure and quality.
• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of utility equipment.
• Identify utility breakdowns and perform troubleshooting and corrective maintenance.
• Maintain utility operating parameters and ensure uninterrupted supply to production.
• Coordinate with production and quality for utility-related needs.
• Carry out preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment used in tablet, capsule, liquid and other formulation processes.
• Handle maintenance of granulation, compression, coating, mixing, filling and packing equipment.
• Maintain pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, valves and other mechanical equipment.
• Identify equipment abnormalities and take corrective action to minimize downtime.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning and modification activities.
• Coordinate with external service providers and equipment vendors for maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure equipment availability and reliability for production activities.
