Job summary

Sharp Brains seeks a UI/UX Designer to craft intuitive, accessible interfaces for web and mobile. You will translate business requirements into elegant visual solutions, create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity UI designs, and contribute to design systems.

You will collaborate with product, engineering, and analytics teams to ensure responsive experiences, maintain UX standards (WCAG), and support developers with assets and specifications throughout delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, user-friendly, and visually consistent web and application interfaces.
• Translate business and functional requirements into effective UI designs.
• Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Develop and maintain design systems, UI components, and style guidelines.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in User Interface Design and UX/UI Design.
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools.
• Strong knowledge of wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
• Experience designing responsive web and mobile interfaces.
• Understanding of UX principles, usability, accessibility, and interaction design.
• Experience creating and maintaining design systems and reusable UI components.
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and frontend development concepts.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into simple and intuitive user experiences.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience working on large-scale or high-complexity enterprise projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise applications and digital transformation projects.
• Knowledge of WCAG/accessibility standards.
• Experience with design systems such as Material Design.
• Basic understanding of React, Angular, or other frontend frameworks.
• Experience conducting usability testing and incorporating user feedback.
• Relevant UI/UX or design certification is an advantage.
