Job summary

GS Software Product Development Company (GSSPEC) in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced UX Designer to craft engaging, accessible user experiences for web and mobile applications.

You will work with product managers, developers, and business teams to translate requirements into wireframes, flows, and high-fidelity mockups, while applying UX best practices and contributing to design systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Fine Arts, CS, or related field.
• 1–5 years experience in UX design; Freshers with training welcome.
• Proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or InVision.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and developers to define user requirements and design goals.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions to validate design concepts.
• Ensure design consistency through design systems, style guides, and component libraries.
• Apply UX best practices to improve accessibility, performance, and engagement across applications.
• Collaborate with frontend developers for design feasibility and pixel-perfect implementation.
• Stay updated with modern design trends, tools, and UX methodologies.

Position Overview

As a UX Designer, you will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and business teams to design engaging, accessible, and visually appealing user experiences that align with business goals and delight users.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and developers to define user requirements and design goals.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions to validate design concepts.
• Ensure design consistency through design systems, style guides, and component libraries.
• Apply UX best practices to improve accessibility, performance, and engagement across applications.
• Collaborate with frontend developers for design feasibility and pixel-perfect implementation.
• Stay updated with modern design trends, tools, and UX methodologies.
• Document design processes, user personas, and journey maps for team reference.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or InVision.
• Strong understanding of UX principles, user-centered design, and usability testing.
• Ability to create low and high-fidelity prototypes with interactive flows.
• Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design principles.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic frontend technologies (advantageous).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG, ADA compliance).
• Exposure to AI-driven design tools or data visualization interfaces.
• Experience with UX research, A/B testing, and analytics tools (Hotjar, Google Analytics, etc.).
• Ability to contribute to UI development using design-to-code frameworks.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Fine Arts, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience: 1–5 years preferred. Freshers with strong portfolios or formal UX training are welcome.
