Job summary

Responsibilities

• Design high-quality visuals for web and mobile apps, icons, illustrations, and layouts.

• Develop and maintain design systems, brand guidelines, and reusable assets.
• Create marketing collaterals, banners, and promotional materials consistent with the brand.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute creative branding ideas.

Position Overview

As a Visual Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing, consistent, and user-friendly designs for GSSPEC’s software products, marketing materials, and digital assets. You will collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and developers to translate requirements into high-quality visuals that enhance usability and brand perception.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver high-quality visuals for web and mobile applications, including icons, illustrations, and layouts.
• Collaborate with UX designers to ensure a seamless blend of usability and visual appeal.
• Develop and maintain design systems, brand guidelines, and reusable visual assets.
• Create marketing collaterals, banners, and promotional materials consistent with GSSPEC’s visual identity.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing creative ideas for branding and product visuals.
• Ensure visual consistency across different platforms and touchpoints.
• Work closely with developers to ensure design feasibility and pixel-perfect implementation.
• Stay updated with design trends, typography, color theory, and modern digital aesthetics.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and Figma or Sketch.
• Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, color theory, and layout design.
• Ability to create design assets for both digital interfaces and marketing communications.
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and web/mobile standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present design concepts clearly.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design creativity, attention to detail, and versatility.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Familiarity with UI development tools or design-to-code systems.
• Knowledge of branding, logo design, and visual storytelling.
• Experience collaborating with Agile teams and UX researchers.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or related field.
Experience: 1–5 years in visual or graphic design roles. Freshers with strong design portfolios or training are welcome.
