Job summary

Mizuho Pune seeks a Test Automation Engineer to drive quality engineering for Regulatory and Compliance platforms. You will build scalable automation solutions, perform data validation, reconciliation, and regression testing, leveraging AXIOMSL / Axiom CV10 and SQL to ensure accurate regulatory reporting.

The role requires 3–7 years in QA/testing and strong programming experience in Python or Java, with knowledge of U.S. regulatory reports and an Agile/Scrum environment.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience in QA, Regulatory Reporting Testing or Data Testing.
• Hands-on experience with AXIOMSL / Axiom CV10.
• Good understanding of U.S. regulatory reports (e.g., FR Y-9C, FFIEC 009).
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
• Programming in Python and/or Java for automation and regression testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of AXIOMSL / Axiom CV10 solutions.
• Validate U.S. regulatory reports (e.g., FR Y-9C, FFIEC 009).
• Conduct GAP analysis against regulatory requirements and identify data quality issues.
• Execute data analysis, source-to-target mapping, reconciliation, and variance analysis.
• Develop and run SQL queries for validation and reporting verification.
• Build automation solutions using Python/Java to automate data validation and regression testing.
• Collaborate with BAs, Developers, and Product Owners in agile squads.
• Analyze and reconcile financial data to ensure reporting accuracy and completeness.

About the Team:

Regulatory Reportingis part of the Corporate Services Technology group and is responsible for delivering strategic data and reporting solutions supporting U.S. Regulatory Reporting. The team leverages Axiom SL platforms to meet regulatory reporting requirements through robust data sourcing, transformation, aggregation, reconciliation, and report generation processes for key reports such as FR Y-9C, FFIEC 009, and other regulatory filings.

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Axiom, automation frameworks and investment banking domain knowledge to drive quality engineering across Regulatory and Compliance platforms. The role requires building scalable automation solutions and be accountable for high-quality & robust deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end to end testing of AXIOMSL / Axiom CV10 solutions.
• Validate U.S. regulatory reports (e.g., FR Y-9C, FFIEC 009)

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3-7 years of experience in QA, Regulatory Reporting Testing, or Data Testing
• Hands-on experience and strong understanding of AXIOMSL / Axiom CV10
• Good understanding of U.S. regulatory reports (e.g., FR Y-9C, FFIEC 009)
• Strong experience with SQL and data analysis across large datasets
• Experience in source-to-target mapping, reconciliation, variance analysis, and data validation
• Hands-on programming expertise in Python and/or Java for automation and regression testing
• Understanding of automation frameworks and CI/CD practices
• Deep domain knowledge in Investment Banking and Regulatory Reporting
• Hands-on experience in Agile / Scrum delivery models
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree required or relevant degree preferred.
