Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in any discipline.
  • 2-5 years of experience in U.S. Immigration, HR Immigration Operations, or Immigration Case Management.
  • Experience with U.S. immigration attorneys or service providers preferred.
  • Onsite in Madhapur, Hyderabad; US EST shift.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end employment-based immigration cases (H-1B, L-1, TN, OPT/STEM OPT, H-4 EAD, PERM, I-140, AOS).
  • Coordinate with employees, managers, legal counsel, and external attorneys regarding case progress and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with USCIS, DOL, DOS policies.
  • Prepare H-1B petition documentation and supporting letters.
  • Respond to RFEs and maintain accurate immigration records and case files.
  • Generate immigration and compliance reports for management.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced US Immigration & HR Compliance Specialist to manage employment-based immigration cases while ensuring compliance with U.S. immigration laws and company policies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience handling visa processes, HR compliance activities, employee onboarding and offboarding, documentation management, and coordinating with employees, attorneys, and internal stakeholders throughout the immigration lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
US Immigration
  • Manage end-to-end employment-based immigration cases, including H-1B, L-1, TN, OPT/STEM OPT, H-4 EAD, PERM, I-140, and Adjustment of Status (AOS).
  • Coordinate with employees, hiring managers, legal counsel, and external immigration attorneys regarding case progress and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with USCIS, Department of Labor (DOL), Department of State (DOS), and company immigration policies.
  • Review immigration documents for accuracy and completeness before submission.
  • Prepare and support H-1B petition documentation, including drafting employment verification letters, support letters, experience letters, and client-related documents required for petition filing.
  • Respond to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) by coordinating documentation with attorneys and employees.
  • Maintain accurate immigration records, employee case files, and documentation.
  • Track visa expirations, work authorization validity, petition deadlines, and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor case status and provide regular updates to employees, managers, and stakeholders.
  • Support employees with visa stamping documentation, appointment preparation, and required supporting documents.
  • Generate immigration reports, compliance reports, and case status metrics for management.
  • Stay updated on changes in U.S. immigration laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
US HR Compliance
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding activities for U.S.-based employees.
  • Complete and maintain Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification in compliance with USCIS regulations.
  • Process and monitor E-Verify cases and resolve verification issues.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain Public Access Files (PAFs) for H-1B employees in accordance with DOL regulations.
  • Ensure HR documentation complies with federal immigration and employment requirements.
  • Maintain employee records while ensuring confidentiality and data accuracy.
  • Support internal and external immigration and HR compliance audits.
  • Coordinate with HR, payroll, legal, and operations teams to ensure smooth employee lifecycle management.
  • Draft employment-related support letters, verification letters, and immigration-related HR documentation as required.
Required Skills
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. employment-based immigration processes and regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with H-1B, PERM, I-140, LCA, OPT/STEM OPT, TN, L-1, EAD, H-4 EAD, and other employment-based visa categories.
  • Experience with Form I-9, E-Verify, Public Access Files (PAFs), onboarding, and offboarding processes.
  • Knowledge of USCIS, DOL, and Department of State procedures.
  • Experience drafting support letters for H-1B petitions and employment verification documentation.
  • Experience supporting visa stamping documentation.
  • Strong case management, compliance, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and immigration case management systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • 2-5 years of experience in U.S. Immigration, HR Immigration Operations, or Immigration Case Management.
  • Experience working with U.S. immigration attorneys or immigration service providers is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with immigration case management software.
  • Strong understanding of I-9 Compliance, E-Verify, PAF documentation, and U.S. HR compliance.
  • Knowledge of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding.
  • Ability to work effectively in a US Shift (EST) environment.
  • Experience supporting H-1B petition preparation and employment-based immigration documentation.
