Job summary

Altruist Fostering Services in Dahisar, Mumbai, is seeking a US Accounts Manager with 5+ years of work experience. Qualifications

• Experience in US accounting processes and controls.
• Familiarity with month-end close and financial reporting.
• Ability to coordinate with CPAs and US clients.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle day-to-day US accounting activities and ensure accuracy of books.
• Manage month-end closing, bank reconciliations, AP/AR, and general ledger.
• Review accounting entries and perform quality and accuracy checks.
• Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management.
• Coordinate with CPAs for statutory compliance (monthly, quarterly, annual).
• Coordinate with US clients, CPAs, India & US teams, and external agencies.
• Assist in audit requirements and maintain documentation per US accounting standards.
• Support seniors/managers in resolving accounting and compliance queries.
• Guide and review the work of junior associates.
