Job summary

TATA ELXSI is seeking an experienced Linux operations professional in India to support batch processing across Chennai, Bengaluru, Pune and Hyderabad. You will own Bash scripting, cron jobs, and monitoring to ensure reliable production workflows.

With 7+ years of experience, you will troubleshoot job failures, perform root cause analysis, validate dependencies, and coordinate with application and database teams. Strong incident support and documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux/Unix administration.
• Proficiency in Bash scripting for automation.
• Hands-on with cron-based scheduling and batch jobs.
• Familiarity with log parsing tools (grep/awk/sed).
• Ability to monitor processes and manage file systems.
• Basic SQL knowledge for querying data.
