Job summary

Crescendo Global Leadership Hiring India is seeking an experienced Linux Infrastructure Engineer to manage large-scale Linux/Unix infrastructure in a mission-critical financial services environment. The role requires hands-on RHEL and Solaris expertise, automation, and cloud/IaC skills, based in Pune.

You will collaborate with global teams to ensure stability, performance, and resilience while driving automation, monitoring, and disaster recovery initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with 6+ years of UNIX/Linux infrastructure experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Linux and Solaris, preferably in large-scale environments.
• Knowledge of Veritas Cluster Server (VCS), Veritas Volume Manager (VxVM), LVM, and RHCS clustering tech.
• Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Tanium, RHN, and Satellite; scripting in Bash, Python, Perl, Ruby, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), Terraform, Kubernetes/AKS, YAML/JSON; monitoring and backup solutions desirable.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of Veritas Cluster Server (VCS), Veritas Volume Manager (VxVM), LVM, and clustering technologies such as RHCS.
• Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Tanium, RHN, and Satellite, along with scripting skills in Bash, Python, Perl, Ruby, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), Terraform, Kubernetes/AKS, YAML/JSON, monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK), and enterprise backup solutions is desirable.
