Job summary

Baazi Games is seeking a hands-on Unity Developer to lead architecture and technical vision for our real-money gaming platforms. You will own Unity architecture, performance, and scalable multiplayer systems across mobile and app ecosystems.

Responsibilities include defining the overall Unity architecture roadmap, designing scalable 3D multiplayer frameworks, and ensuring high-performance, maintainable codebases while collaborating with designers, backend engineers and product teams.

Qualifications

We are looking for a hands-on Unity Developer with deep expertise in 3D multiplayer game development to drive architecture and technical vision for our real-money gaming (RMG) platforms.

This role requires strong ownership of Unity architecture, performance and scalable multiplayer systems across mobile and app ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Technical Leadership

• Define and drive the overall Unity architecture and technical roadmap.
• Design scalable frameworks for 3D multiplayer real-money games.
• Ensure modular, maintainable and high-performance codebases across platforms.

Hands-on Development

• Actively contribute to core gameplay systems and engine-level components.
• Build and optimize systems for:
• Game state management
• Real-time interactions

Multiplayer & Networking Systems

• Architect and implement real-time multiplayer systems using:
• WebSockets / TCP / UDP
• Matchmaking systems
• Ensure low latency, high reliability and anti-cheat mechanisms.

Performance Optimization

• Optimize for mobile performance (Android & iOS):
• CPU / GPU usage
• Memory & GC optimization
• Use tools like Unity Profiler, Xcode Instruments, Android Profiler.

Cross-Platform Development

• WebGL / Desktop (if applicable)

Frameworks & Tooling

• Build reusable SDKs, tools and pipelines for faster development cycles.
• Improve build systems and asset pipelines.
• Work closely with game designers, artists, backend engineers and product teams.
• Align technical architecture with gameplay and business requirements.
• Mentor senior engineers and guide technical decisions across teams.
• Conduct architecture reviews and enforce engineering standards.

Must Have Skills
