Job Description: Unity Game/Application Developer (WebGL, Mobile, AR/VR)

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the art team to ensure seamless integration of assets, animations, and designs, maintaining a consistent visual and functional output across all projects.
- Design, develop, and optimize Unity WebGL, AR, and VR applications and games with attention to performance and cross-platform compatibility.
- Implement advanced optimization techniques for art assets (e.g., reducing polycount, texture compression, LODs) and code performance (e.g., memory management, multithreading, object pooling).
- Work on multiple projects across platforms (WebGL, mobile, AR/VR), adapting quickly to new technologies, requirements, and creative challenges.
- Write clean, modular, and maintainable C# code, following best practices and standards.
- Implement UI/UX elements with a focus on responsive design, usability, and performance.
- Leverage URP and HDRP render pipelines to create visually stunning and optimized environments.
- Develop custom shaders using OpenGL or ShaderGraph, enhancing visuals and supporting specific gameplay or design needs.
- Conduct debugging, profiling, and performance testing to ensure smooth gameplay and application functionality.
- Develop and implement multiplayer gameplay systems using Photon Fusion/Photon PUN,/Unity Netcode for GameObjects, or custom networking framework.
Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
- 24 years of professional experience in Unity 3D/2D game and application development, with a strong portfolio showcasing completed projects.
- Proficiency in Unity WebGL, AR, and VR application development, including knowledge of platform-specific requirements and optimizations.
- Strong C# programming skills with experience in scripting, debugging, and problem-solving.
- Expertise in Unity UI/UX systems, with attention to user interaction, responsiveness, and design principles.
- Advanced knowledge of URP (Universal Render Pipeline) and HDRP (High Definition Render Pipeline) for creating high-quality visuals.
- Hands-on experience in developing custom shaders using OpenGL or ShaderGraph to achieve unique visual effects and performance.
Optimization Skills:
- Art standpoint: Proficiency in optimizing 3D models (e.g., polycount reduction, LOD creation), textures (e.g., compression, mipmapping), and efficient material usage for reduced rendering overhead.
- Development standpoint: Expertise in memory management, object pooling, multithreading, and asynchronous operations to improve runtime performance.
- Platform-specific deployment: Ability to optimize projects for WebGL (e.g., size reduction, runtime efficiency), mobile platforms (e.g., GPU/CPU performance, battery optimization), and AR/VR devices (e.g., frame rate stability, latency reduction).
General Skills:
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills, particularly in geometry, vectors, and linear algebra, to solve complex problems.
- Experience in debugging tools like Unity Profiler, RenderDoc, and platform-specific profilers.
Good to Have:
- Experience with 3D modeling tools like Blender for creating or modifying assets.
- Skills in Photoshop and other design software for creating textures, UI elements, or concept art.
- Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in game development, such as procedural content generation, NPC behavior, or AI-assisted art creation.
- Experience in pipeline automation and version control systems like Git to streamline workflows.
- Expertise in Omniverse.
