Job summary

Vishwa Management Services is seeking a Unit Head to oversee end-to-end plant operations across RM/PM/Engineering procurement, O&M, safety, HR, QA, production planning and supply chain. The role requires strategic planning, budget/capex oversight, and driving productivity and quality improvements.

You will engage with government bodies and communities, drive TPM and cost-reduction initiatives, and lead development of people and machinery upgrades to enhance efficiency and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG/Personal Care/Cosmetics industry preferred.

• Strategic planning and execution of budgets, capex investments, and high-impact projects; drive TPM, productivity and quality improvements.

Roles and Responsibilities

Unit Head will be Responsible for oversee plant complete operation like RM/PM/Engineering Procurement, Negotiations, Operation & Maintenance, Overall plant safety, Engineering, Commercial function, HR functions, Quality function, directing entire production / manufacturing, planning & control and supply chain operations for utilization of available resources, executing cost saving techniques to achieve targate, responsible for Project and Development functions including Purchase and procurement, Overall leadership of end-to-end manufacturing operations across categories. Strategic planning and execution of budgets, capex investments, and high-impact projects. Driving operational excellence, productivity, quality, and sustainability initiatives across the site. Liaising with Government and local communities. Improving the plant Operational hygiene to meet the USFDA guidelines, Improving the plant overall efficiency, Overall inventory reduction, Roll out of TPM best practices, Key deliverables include Sustaining Productivities, Bringing down Cost of Production, and Improving upon Quality Standards, Upgradation of Machineries and Development of People, Budget responsibility for the Manufacturing and quality group including regular forecasting of activities, Benchmark to best industry practices & costing and match internal performance accordingly, Projection of Capex requirements for Technology up gradation & automation to improve manufacturing efficiency.
