Job summary

UNO MINDA is seeking a Chartered Accountant to manage statutory books, financial statements and tax schedules. The role focuses on timely P&L, MIS reporting, and close collaboration with internal and statutory auditors.

Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, working capital management, and SAP-based product costing. The candidate will ensure GST/TDS compliance and asset depreciation is maintained according to policy.

Qualifications

• Preparation and finalization of statutory books of accounts and financial statements.
• Monthly and annual financial reports and tax schedules.
• GST & TDS compliance review on a monthly basis.
• Interacting with internal and external auditors for audits.
• Costing and budgeting processes, including working capital management.
• Asset capitalization and depreciation activities as per policy.

• Assist auditors with data and documentation required for audits.

Job description

• Preparing/finalizing statutory books of accounts, financial statements, tax schedules, monthly and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance of accounting standards

• Steering responsibilities towards monitoring and providing direction to the receivable areas
• Scrutinizing and analyzing accruals for timeous clearance, reconciliation and settlement in collaboration and cooperation with other departments
• Reviewing of Monthly product costing through SAP
• Involving in budgets and forecasting, communicating & facilitating necessary information.
• Playing a pivotal role in executing monthly P&L and MIS reporting
• Collaborating with Internal Audit, Statutory Auditors and Government Auditors for Accounts Audit, Inspection Audit and facilitating the data requirement for the audit
• Reviewing GST & TDS compliance monthly basis
• Managing capitalization of asset activities in line with accounting standards and ensuring depreciation runs on time and physical verification of the assets are being conducted as per the company policy
• Overseeing Cost Statement for Annual Cost Audit; assisting the Statutory Auditors/Cost Auditors/Internal Auditors in Audits
• Coordinating with Plant head, Operation head for Financial Performance on weekly basis.
• Working capital management and review with plant team.
• Review of cashflow planning with Actual on weekly basis.
• Ascertaining all accounting aspects are accounted timely and necessary documents for audit are made available
• Reviewing trade receivable regularly basis & ensure all Price increases & decreases account for timely basis
