Job summary

Job Title: Payroll Analyst – P1

Payroll Analyst is responsible for day to day payroll activities and completion of timely and accurate payrolls as assigned. Help team in day to day payroll activities under supervision which includes data collation, generating reports, follow-ups etc. Researches and resolves basic payroll and/or tax withholding, pay deposit or reporting issues. He / She may perform some Payroll Lodgment activities where applicable.

Major duties:

  • Performs daily payroll activities to ensure timely and accurate payroll activities of assigned payrolls.
  • Responds to payroll enquiries using systems or 3rd party resources to explain pay, adjustments to pay and impact of policies, tax laws and related changes.
  • Working with offshore payroll team to facilitate knowledge transfer and acquires knowledge of other team member’s payroll activities.
  • Ensuring completion of all tasks to support UK payroll processing and complete sign-off schedule for review ensuring any exceptions and outstanding tasks are documented.
  • Detailed focus on quality, accuracy, and timeliness of payroll related activities as assigned
  • Work closely with other Teams to ensure that the information received from Business HR / finance teams are loaded and captured correctly in payroll system.
  • Reviewing and reconciling Payroll Interface reports from Workday
  • Working with Payroll vendor to ensure accurate payroll delivery for the payrolls assigned.

Qualification, Knowledge & Experience Required:

  • Any graduate from any recognized university with 1-2 years of relevant experience in UK Payroll operations with good understanding of statutory & labor laws.
  • Knowledge/experience in processing UK payroll is desired.
  • Attention to detail, ability to work as a team member and independently.
  • Deliver within defined Turnaround Time.
  • Proficient working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint

This position is classified as:

  • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
  • Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
  • Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.
  • Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
  • Requires theoretical knowledge typically obtained through University Degree. Limited to some knowledge of RTX organization.
  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
  • Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
