Job summary

Capgemini Chennai is seeking a skilled User Experience Designer to craft end-to-end experiences for transaction banking products, ensuring regulatory alignment and usability. You will translate complex workflows into intuitive journeys, create flows and prototypes, and contribute to design systems.

In an agile environment, collaborate with product managers, engineers, architects, and QA, deliver clear design rationales, and hand off precise assets for development, all while upholding security

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of UX/UI design experience for enterprise or banking products.
• Strong ability to translate banking workflows into intuitive user journeys.
• Experience designing for transaction banking domains and compliance.
• Proficient in creating flows, wireframes, and prototypes.

User Experience & Interaction Design

• Design end-to-end user experiences for transaction banking products (e.g., payments initiation, approvals, reporting, reconciliation, user entitlements).


• Translate complex banking workflows into intuitive, efficient, and consistent user journeys.


• Create user flows, wireframes, interaction models, and prototypes aligned with business and regulatory needs.


• Apply human-centered and data-driven design principles across all solutions.

User Interface & Visual Design

• Design high-quality UI screens and components aligned with enterprise design systems and branding guidelines.


• Ensure designs meet usability, accessibility (WCAG), and responsiveness standards.


• Work with existing or evolving design systems to ensure consistency across channels.

Collaboration & Delivery

• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, architects, and QA teams during agile delivery.


• Clearly communicate design rationale to technical and non-technical stakeholders.


• Support design handoff with detailed specifications and assets for development teams.

Governance & Compliance Awareness

• Design with an understanding of security, risk, compliance, and audit requirements common in transaction banking.


• Ensure UX solutions support entitlements, approvals, makerchecker flows, and auditability where required.
