Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Test Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience in API testing (Playwright API / Postman / Rest Assured).
• Good understanding of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Automate web application test cases covering both UI and API.
• Develop reusable test utilities and implement Page Object Models (POM).
• Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines.
• Execute regression, smoke, and cross-browser testing.
• Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Managers, and QA teams.
• Perform root cause analysis and debug automation failures.
• Ensure adequate test coverage and maintain detailed test reports.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to automation best practices.
• Continuously improve framework performance and scalability.

About the Role: We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Automation Test Engineer with 5+ years of experience in test automation. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Playwright and modern automation practices, along with hands-on experience in UI and API testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript)
• Automate web application test cases covering both UI and API
• Develop reusable test utilities and implement Page Object Models (POM)
• Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps)
• Execute regression, smoke, and cross-browser testing
• Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Managers, and QA teams
• Perform root cause analysis and debug automation failures
• Ensure adequate test coverage and maintain detailed test reports (Allure/HTML reports)
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to automation best practices
• Continuously improve framework performance and scalability

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in Test Automation
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright
• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
• Experience in API testing (Playwright API / Postman / Rest Assured)
