About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer with strong experience in Playwright and hands‑on expertise in JavaScript or TypeScript. The ideal candidate will lead automation initiatives, contribute to test strategy, streamline CI/CD automation practices, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. Experience in ERP or manufacturing domain environments will be an added advantage. This is a hybrid role based in Bengaluru, offering the flexibility to balance both in‑office collaboration and remote productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test suites using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Lead automation planning, framework enhancements, and architectural decisions.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and QA teams to ensure high‑quality delivery.
• Implement, optimize, and maintain automated test execution pipelines within CI/CD systems.
• Perform root‑cause analysis for defects and drive test automation best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to scaling automation across teams.
• Work on end‑to‑end test coverage for web applications; ERP or manufacturing workflows is a plus.
• Ensure documentation, reporting, and communication of testing activities and results.
