Job summary

FIS in Chennai is seeking a senior Full Stack developer to design, code, test, implement and maintain software with on-time delivery. You will work closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to ensure solutions align with business IT strategies and FIS architectural standards.

The role requires 6+ years in full-stack development, with TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, C++, AWS Lambda, and NodeJS, plus banking/payments domain experience, SQL/Oracle and DynamoDB, and tools like

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Full Stack developer.
• Banking and Payments domain experience.
• Database experience with SQL/Oracle, DynamoDB.
• Familiar with Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, ServiceNow, GitHub.
• Experience with API Gateway and BPM/workflow exposure is a plus.
• Knowledge of end-to-end SDLC and modern development practices.

What You Will Be Doing

• Design, code, test, implement, maintain and support applications software that is delivered on time and within budget
• Work closely with customers, business analysts and team members to understand business requirements that drive analysis and design of quality technical solutions ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies and complying with FIS architectural standards
• Provides application software development services or technical support typically in a defined project
• Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications
• Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications

What You Bring

• 6+ Years of experience in Full Stack developer with good experience in TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, C++, JSF, AWS Lambda, NodeJS
• Good experience in Banking and Payments domain
• Database ~- SQL/ Oracle, DynamoDB
• Tools~ Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, ServiceNow, GitHub
• Good experience in API Gateway
• Good to have BPM/ Workflow Orchestration exposure

Good To Have

• Knowledge of FIS products and services; in-depth knowledge of products and services in assigned line(s) of business
• Exposure to Cloud services like AWS, Azure, GCS, etc
• Knowledge of financial services industry
• Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles, e.g., waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development
• Knowledge of standards relevant to the Payments industry, e.g., ISO, EMV, PCI, etc
