Job summary

FIS is seeking a Senior Full Stack UI Engineer to design, develop, and enhance scalable web applications that deliver exceptional user experiences and meet critical business outcomes.

You will collaborate with product, UX, engineering and architecture teams to build modern, secure, and high-performing solutions, balancing technical excellence with customer-centric design and contributing to engineering standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience building modern web apps with React.js and TypeScript/JavaScript
• Strong understanding of user-centered design and front-end development
• Experience designing scalable, maintainable, high-performing architectures
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating distributed services
• Knowledge of authentication protocols and secure coding practices
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Oracle
• Proficiency with SDLC practices, testing, code reviews and CI/CD

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated 5+ Years experience developing modern web applications using React.js and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and front-end application development.
• Expertise in designing scalable, maintainable, and high-performing software architectures.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating distributed services.
• Knowledge of authentication protocols, application security principles, and secure coding practices.
• Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar technologies.
• Proficiency in software development lifecycle practices, including testing, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to influence technical decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Angular or additional modern front-end frameworks.
• Experience with Node.js and backend frameworks such as Express.
• Knowledge of functional programming concepts and frameworks.
• Experience developing and supporting Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms.
• Experience with front-end build, automation, and DevOps tooling.
• Hands-on experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks.
