Job summary

FIS in Chennai is seeking experienced professionals to develop C++ and Java applications, and to maintain mainframe systems within a leading fintech environment. You will design, code, and test complex software while guiding a technical team to deliver robust solutions.

Candidates should have 5–15 years of C++ development experience with Unix and Oracle, plus domain exposure to IST Switch/payments/data navigator. Strong DB and Unix skills are required.

Qualifications

• 5-15 years of experience in C++ development with Unix and Oracle.
• Mandate to have experience in IST Switch, Payments, POS, Clearing, Data Navigator or EFT Switch.
• Proficiency in database systems.
• Proficiency in Unix environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop application code for C++.
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code per specifications.
• Design, implement and maintain Java application phases.
• Design, code, debug and maintain mainframe applications.
• Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation.
• Convert business requirements into executable code solutions.
• Provide leadership to the technical team.
• Analyze and resolve technical queries during project execution.

What You Will Be Doing

• Develop application code for C++
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code and ensure designs follow specifications
• Design, implement and maintain java application phases
• Designing, coding, and debugging and maintenance of mainframe application systems
• Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation
• Ability to convert business requirement into executable code solution
• Provide leadership to technical team
• Ability to analyze and resolve technical query in project execution

What You Bring

• 5 - 15 years of experience in C++ Development with unix and Oracle
• Mandate to have experience in any one domain ( IST Switch/ Payments/ POS/ Clearing /Data Navigator/ EFT Switch)
