The Tutor – General Surgery will support day-to-day academic activities by assisting with clinical demonstrations, patient case presentations, tutorials, practical examinations, and maintenance of academic records.

• Assist faculty members during General Surgery teaching sessions.
• Support bedside teaching and clinical demonstrations.
• Conduct tutorials and small-group learning activities.
• Assist students with surgical patient history-taking and examination techniques.
• Guide students in presenting and discussing surgical cases.
• Explain common surgical conditions, clinical signs, and management principles.
• Assist students in understanding preoperative and postoperative care.
• Support basic interpretation of laboratory and imaging findings.
• Assist with practical examinations, viva sessions, and student assessments.
• Provide academic guidance and clarification to students.
• Maintain student attendance and academic records.
• Assist in preparing presentations, teaching materials, and clinical demonstrations.
• Participate in surgical case discussions and departmental academic meetings.
