Job summary

Reinvent Carbon in Nashik, Maharashtra, India, is seeking a highly skilled Turner (Conventional Lathe) to operate lathe machines and maintain dimensional accuracy. You will read engineering drawings, set up tooling, and perform turning, facing, threading and drilling as required.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years' proven experience as a Turner/Setter in manufacturing, ITI or equivalent, and a strong eye for detail, safety, and quality.

Qualifications

• ITI certificate or equivalent is required; technical certification is a plus.
• 3–5 years of proven experience as a Turner and Setter in a manufacturing setup.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of machine setup, operation, and maintenance.
• Skilled in using measuring tools and instruments; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders.
• Set up and operate conventional lathe machines to perform turning, facing, threading, drilling, and other operations.
• Perform machine adjustments and change tooling as required for new jobs or material changes.
• Ensure components meet quality standards and specified tolerances.
• Inspect and measure finished work pieces using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
