Job summary

SG Analytics is seeking an IT Service Delivery Coordinator to act as the bridge between business stakeholders, IT engineering teams and external vendors in Chennai, India. You will translate business needs into technical requests and support project managers with schedules, risks, and change control.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience and a solid grounding in networking, servers, storage, sFTP, and cloud basics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–3 years in IT service delivery, project coordination, or technical liaison roles.
• Foundational literacy in networking, servers, storage, sFTP, and cloud basics.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic project tools (Jira, MS Project, Trello).

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary day-to-day liaison between business stakeholders, internal IT teams, and external vendors.
• Translate business requirements into technical requests and communicate IT status in clear, non-technical language.
• Support Project Managers with schedule updates, milestones, action logs, risk registers, and change requests.
• Run daily stand-ups and task reviews across cross-functional IT teams including Network, Server/Systems, Security, and Service Desk.
• Schedule maintenance windows across network, servers, storage, and sFTP systems to minimize business disruption.
• Track patching cycles, system upgrades, and decommissioning through the internal Change Advisory Board (CAB) process.
• Draft professional project communications, weekly/monthly status reports, and Minutes of Meeting (MoM) with assigned action owners.
• Follow up on procurement tasks, vendor deliverables, and handover activities to ensure project closure according to SLAs.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience: 1 to 3 years in IT service delivery, project coordination, or technical liaison roles.
• Education: Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Technical Expertise: Foundational literacy in networking (LAN/WAN, switches), servers (Windows/Linux), storage (SAN/NAS), sFTP, and cloud basics.
• Tools: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and project tools such as Jira, MS Project, or Trello.
• Certifications & Delivery: ITIL Foundation certification or exposure to Agile/hybrid project frameworks is preferred.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional written/verbal communication, email etiquette, proactive follow-through, and multi-tasking skills.
• Assumed Requirements: Standard business working hours with occasional flexibility for off-hours maintenance window coordination; hybrid or onsite placement based on company policy.
