Job summary

ALTEN India in Chennai (Chengalpattu) seeks a professional with 3–7 years experience in T&C Manufacturing and Process Planning to join our manufacturing excellence team.

You will receive inputs from customers, study applicable standards, and perform PR checks and GOS creation, ensuring outputs meet project timelines and quality standards. This is a full-time on-site role with opportunities to work on aerospace projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in T&C Manufacturing / Process Planning.
• Study Standards / procedures / check sheets for each activity.
• Understand customer inputs and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Receive inputs from customer (BOM, Assy. Chart, Ref FOP & GOS, CAD data, FPR standards, PR check standards, Locus Know how sheets, Benchmark study criteria, Torque derogation request, Tightening standards, Small tools SPEC sheet) and understand output required.
• Study and be aware of standards, procedures, check sheets, and previous project data and results for each type of activity.
• Examine inputs, understand customer requirements and generate queries if required.
• Perform Part trajectory study / PR check / GOS creation / GOS to FOP conversion / FOP creation in Pro APR / Process FPR checks / Benchmarking studies / Torque derogation analysis / Small tools development as per schedule following standard procedure.
• Track and record daily progress of the activity. Create recovery plan to meet schedule in case of delays.
• Report to leader immediately in case of delay / blocking points and seek support. Review results with leader periodically and implement corrections.
• Participate in periodical review meetings with customers.
• Prepare lessons learnt report for errors and redefine procedures for recurrence prevention.
