Job summary

BetterCloud is seeking a Transportation Specialist to coordinate vehicle transport with third parties and resolve customer inquiries promptly. The role supports interdepartmental teams to achieve common goals and ensure timely transport arrangements with haulers.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and 2 years of related experience in customer service, transportation, or brokering, with strong communication and organizational skills and a proactive, solution-oriented

Responsibilities

• Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
• Post transportation orders that have been submitted outside of our application; arrange and manage transportation back to original sellers; ensure timely placement of transports with haulers.
• Answer inbound phone calls from automotive transporters and customers; assist management in resolving delays in pickup/delivery.
• Provide continuous communication to all parties involved and resolve issues quickly.
• Understand transporter capabilities and match them to opportunities.
• Communicate the value of partnering with ACV and why they should work with us.
• Manage relationships and retain quality services.
• Assist with speciality transports (Oversized, powersports, boats, etc.) and adjust pricing to move transports efficiently.
• Handle inquiries regarding delivery status; work with sellers, buyers, and transporters to determine transport status.
• Assist in identifying and implementing continuous improvement and customer satisfaction opportunities.

What you will do

• Respond to all internal Salesforce chatter and Email communications promptlyPost transportation orders that have been submitted outside of our applicationArrange and manage transportation back to original sellersResponsible for ensuring timely placement of transports with haulers.
• Answer inbound phone calls from automotive transporters as well as customers of our transportation servicesAssist management in the resolution of any issues that delays vehicle pickup and delivery.
• Follow through to ensure timely proper resolution and provide continuous communication to all parties involved.
• Understand the capabilities of each transporter and proactively match them to opportunities.
• Communicate the value of working with ACV and why they would want to partner with us.
• Manage relationships and retain quality services.
• Assist management and team with speciality transports (Oversized, powersports, boats, etc)Empowered to adjust pricing and creatively link transports to create timely, cost-effective, quick service time movement of vehicles.
• Receive and execute on transportation-related inquiries regarding the delivery status.
• Work inter-departmentally as well as with sellers, buyers, and transporters to determine the status of transport.
• Assist in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement and customer satisfaction opportunities.
• Deliver solutions in a timely manner.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
