Job summary

Saks OFF 5TH in Bangalore is seeking an Imports/Inbound Import Analyst to support import/export documentation, monitor shipments, and assist vendors. You will coordinate with accounts payable, accounting, finance and merchandising teams.

The role requires experience in US, Europe and Southeast Asia inbound operations, data reporting and deriving insights from datasets to improve performance. This is a full-time position within our supply chain analysis group.

Qualifications

• Experience documenting imports/exports and preparing shipment documentation.
• Ability to monitor shipments and provide technical support to vendors.
• Strong collaboration with finance, accounts payable and merchandising teams.

What This Position Is All About

The Imports/Inbound Import Analyst would be responsible for providing support to the Imports/Exports in preparing documentation for imports, monitoring the status of shipments, and providing support to vendors and suppliers that may require technical help. Managing the traffic mailbox, aligning and coordinating with third-party vendors, and monitoring their feeds. We need to coordinate with key stakeholders in the merchant teams and ensure that all queries regarding open PO tracking are addressed. Role demands that the person be savvy in terms of understanding basic reporting and drawing insights to provide meaningful analysis arising out of the data sets pertaining to inbound operations. This role will require previous experience in imports/exports from the United States, Europe, and Southeast Asia. The role will report to the Director of Supply Chain Analysis, based in Bangalore. They will liaise with Accounts Payable, Accounting, Finance and Merchandising teams with co-works in Bangalore, Canada and US.
