Job summary

Saks Global is seeking an Associate, Payroll Processing in Bengaluru to handle payroll tasks for a multinational environment. You will perform tax calculations, process payments, and prepare month-end closings with accuracy and timeliness, coordinating with North American payroll teams and onshore stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in Corporate Finance, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Workday payroll.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance (Full-time).
• 2–4 years of Corporate Finance work experience with MNCs/GICs, preference to Retail industry.
• Minimum 6 months experience with North American payroll.
• Experience with Workday payroll platform.

Responsibilities

• Perform state/federal tax calculations & payments, reports, month‑end journals, and GL reconciliations.
• Day‑to‑day contact with the onshore payroll teams for payroll processing activities.
• Review accounting entries / month end reconciliations as part of period end close activities.
• Responsible for managing payroll inquiries via tickets & mailboxes.
• Ensure adherence to Payroll and HR policies, internal control and audit requirements, and service standards.

You Also Have

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance (Full-time).


• Financial aptitude with minimum 2‑4 years of work experience in Corporate Finance with MNCs/GICs, with preference to Retail industry and minimum 6 months experience with North American payroll.


• Experience with Workday payroll platform.


• Prior experience in US/Canada payroll will be preferred.

As The Associate, Payroll Processing, You Will

• Ensure adherence to Payroll and HR policies, internal control and audit requirements, and service standards at all times.


• Ensure all required period end close activities are completed according to the close schedule.


• Review accounting entries / month end account reconciliations as part of period end close activities.


• Responsible for managing payroll inquiries via tickets & mailboxes.
