NielsenIQ is expanding its Business Analyst team to drive value across the Discover platform. The role partners with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements, and to support scalable platform solutions in an agile environment across multiple hubs including Baroda, Chennai, Gurgaon, Poland, and beyond.

You will translate needs into actionable requirements, create BRDs and user stories, and help automate processes using AI when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business; CS/IS/Engineering background is a plus.
• 4–8 years as a Business Analyst in technology-driven environments.
• Experience gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, and managing stakeholders.
• Familiarity with NIQ platforms including Reference data, Input, Discover is a strong plus.
• Good knowledge of Agile/Scrum and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience using AI tools and designing AI-enabled automated solutions.
• Experience creating BRDs, use cases, and user stories.

As a Business Analyst, you will be part of a talented and collaborative team focused on delivering business value through technology and data. In this role, you will partner closely with Product Managers, Engineering teams, and business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document requirements, streamline business processes, and support the successful delivery of scalable platform solutions. You will play a key role in bridging business needs and technical execution, ensuring alignment across teams and delivering impactful outcomes. Our team operates in an agile environment and is co-located across our Operations hubs in Baroda, Chennai, Gurgaon, Poland, Mexico.

What you’ll do

Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from multiple stakeholders

We’re looking for people who have

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business. Academic background in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field will be a plus

4 to 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in technology-driven environments

Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and stakeholder management

Familiarity with NIQ platforms, including Reference data, Input, Discover, and other retail analytics tools, is a strong plus

Good knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Good exposure to using AI tools as well as designing solutions that are automated through the use of AI

Experience creating user stories, process maps, use cases, and business requirement documents (BRDs)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets

Good understanding of SQL and data analysis techniques

Experience working with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, or similar platforms

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and global teams
