Job description

We are seeking an aggressive, results-driven Placement Officer / Corporate Relations Lead to spearhead corporate hiring partnerships and line up guaranteed interview drives for our graduating batches.

Our student talent pool is heavily concentrated in Data Analytics (SQL, Power BI, Advanced Excel, Python) and Python Full Stack Development (Django/FastAPI, React), with secondary tracks in Full Stack Java, Digital Marketing, and Tally.

In this role, your core mandate is straightforward: bring corporate requirements to the table, schedule frequent interview rounds, and achieve maximum placement conversions for our students.

Key Responsibilities

1. Corporate Outreach & Sourcing Openings

• Target, connect, and build strong professional relationships with Talent Acquisition heads, HR Managers, Startup Founders, and Technical Hiring Leads across Bengaluru and pan-India.
• Generate consistent hiring mandates (full-time fresher roles, internships, and internship-to-PPO models) specifically for Data Analysts, BI Analysts, and Python Full Stack Developers.
• Utilize active B2B outreach through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, WhatsApp networking, and industry referrals.
• Pitch our unique talent differentiators: pre-vetted candidates with hands-on live project exposure on our proprietary platform (CampusOS), tailored training mapped to the client's stack, and a 100% free hiring model.

2. Interview Coordination & Drive Execution

• Organize and manage virtual and on-campus recruitment drives, pooled drives, and dedicated corporate hiring days.
• Map student portfolios (GitHub links, live Power BI dashboards) against specific corporate Job Descriptions to present matching candidate shortlists.
• Coordinate interview scheduling, written assessments, technical panel coordination, and feedback follow-ups from initial screening through final offer rollout.
• Track offer letters, joining status, and candidate onboarding to maintain strong recruiter trust and repeat hiring.

3. Student Readiness & Placement Operations

• Maintain transparent daily/weekly tracking metrics: Number of corporate HRs reached, active JDs received, students lined up for interviews, and offers closed.
• Coordinate with internal technical trainers to brief candidates on specific company test patterns, interview rounds, and tech stacks before they face interviews.
• Conduct basic HR mock interviews, pre-placement talks, and resume alignment sessions to increase final selection ratios.

Candidate Profile & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of verifiable experience working as a Placement Officer, Corporate Relations Executive, or IT Recruiter / Campus Coordinator in an EdTech firm, IT training institute, or higher education institute.
• Network & Industry Rolodex: Proven track record and an existing, warm corporate HR/TA network in Bengaluru’s tech ecosystem (IT services, funded startups, GCCs, and boutique consultancies).
• Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills; persuasive negotiation skills to convince corporate recruiters to evaluate and hire freshers.
• Tech-Hiring Understanding: Working familiarity with tech job requirements (understanding the difference between a Python backend role vs. an entry-level SQL/Power BI analyst role).
• Target-Driven: High accountability to monthly interview targets and placement volume.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 per month
