Job summary

NIIT Foundation seeks a Trainer in Gurgaon to deliver classroom and online BFSI training. You will prepare plans, training materials, assessments and practical activities aligned with curriculum guidelines, and train students on banking operations, insurance, financial services, and digital banking concepts.

You will conduct interactive sessions with role plays, case studies and mock interviews, ensure student attendance and progress, and provide career guidance and placement readiness support

Qualifications

• Graduate or postgraduate in commerce, finance, banking, management or related field.
• 1–3 years of BFSI training, teaching or banking/finance industry experience.
• Experience in skill development projects or NGO sector preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and online training sessions in Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) domain.
• Prepare session plans, training materials, assessments, and practical activities as per curriculum guidelines.
• Train students on banking operations, insurance products, financial services, customer handling, sales, and digital banking concepts.
• Conduct interactive learning sessions including role plays, case studies, mock interviews, and presentations.
• Ensure student attendance, participation, discipline, and learning outcomes.
• Conduct pre-assessments and post-assessments to track student progress.
• Provide career guidance, interview preparation, and placement readiness support to students.
• Maintain attendance records, MIS reports, assessments, feedback forms, and training documentation.
• Coordinate with placement and mobilization teams for student enrollment and job opportunities.
• Support field activities, community outreach, mobilization drives, counselling sessions, and awareness campaigns for student enrollment.
• Support center activities and parent counseling whenever required.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance sector.
• Good understanding of banking products, insurance, KYC, customer service, and sales processes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
• Good command of MS Office and digital learning tools.
• Strong classroom management and student engagement abilities.
• Ability to motivate and mentor youth for employment opportunities.
• Knowledge of BFSI certifications like NISM/NCFM will be an added advantage.

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate/Post-Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Banking, Management, or related field.
• Minimum 13 years of experience in BFSI training, teaching, or banking/financial sector.
• Prior experience in skill development projects or NGO sector preferred.
