Job summary

Brik Oven in Bengaluru is seeking a Steward to support the dining room team during service. You will assist in mis-en-place, table setup, and ensuring all cutlery and glassware are clean and ready for service.

You will buss and clear tables, help steward during peak times, and ensure food pickup and service occur in the correct sequence with accompaniments. Adherence to restaurant policies and a neat appearance are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive help to the steward in mis-en-place
• Collect, clean and polish cutlery, crockery and glassware. Ensure that the side stations are well equipped and clean at all times
• assist the steward in laying the tables
• Assist steward during services
• Assist the Steward in bussing/ clearing the tables
• Ensure that the food is promptly picked-up and served in the proper sequence along with the respective accompaniments/sauces
• Ensure all duties are carried out in line with the restaurant policy with high standards of personal appearance, hygiene, correct uniform and name badges as applicable
• Carry out duties that may be assigned from time to time by the superiors.
