IDX DIGITAL is seeking a motivated Trainee System Engineer to join the IT Support team in Vadodara, India. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in system administration, troubleshooting, infrastructure support, and service operations.

You will work with experienced engineers to maintain reliable IT services, provide effective technical support, and learn essential IT concepts while growing your career within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and system administration concepts.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems and networking fundamentals.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Fundamentals, or similar would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and system-related issues.
• Assist in monitoring IT systems and infrastructure health.
• Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, servers, and applications.
• Perform basic troubleshooting for Windows operating systems, network connectivity, and user access issues.
• Assist senior engineers with system administration activities.
• Monitor service requests and ensure timely resolution as per defined processes.
• Support user account management, access requests, and system updates.
• Maintain technical documentation and update support records.
• Follow IT security policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
• Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and continuously improve technical skills.
• Support planned maintenance activities and system upgrades.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth IT operations.
